Survey of the Megaloceros Panel

The soft surface, several millimetres thick, has allowed the artist to combine engraving and charcoal, along with stump-drawing for the megaloceros' neck. On the upper part of the panel is a triangle sketched with a finger, probably intended as a vulvar sign.
