Movement is created by the multiplication of the number of legs, some drawn in charcoal, and others engraved. This is the only deer in this room. Its form (antlers, shoulder line, detached dewlap, and slim legs) and its dynamism are reminiscent of that seen on the Panel of the Reindeer in the Hillaire Chamber.
