Detail of the rhinoceros head that has been erased and redrawn

Détail de la tête du rhinocéros effacée et reprise
10758

One of the individuals in the composition of the rhinoceros (unless there were two, because there are three front legs) has lost its head due to charcoal smearing. The black smudge created has allowed a profile to be redrawn through engraving, from the withers to the muzzle, even adding an eye and a nostril.
