Bison of the Pillar

Les Bisons du Pilier
10753

These two crossed bison are drawn in black and emphasised by engraving. On the upper bison, two versions of the body can be seen, with the longest appearing disproportionate. The lower bison, which is less detailed, has been partially erased by the passage of bears through the cave. On the panel, one can also see an alignment of engraved dashes forming an unusual sign and a sketchily engraved mammoth head.
