This watercolor by Walter Andrae (1875-1956), one of the archaeologists who excavated the site of Babylon in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is entitled "Morning between 5.30 and 7 o'clock" andrepresents the tell (hill) of Babylon seen from the southeast, in 1902.
